Third friend to commit suicide in the last month

I can’t comprehend it right now. Three of my best friends from high school have now committed suicide in the last month. All of us extremely close and part of the same friend group. What the fricking frick. Just had to vent. Idk what the frick to even think rn

Oh no. I’m so sorry.

I’d recommend talking to a counselor/therapist. That’s a difficult situation to deal with and process without some outside help.

Listen... there’s a time and a place to seek professional help. And I think this is one of those times.
Seek out a competent professional therapist to talk to for a little while. You need to get through this time, and it would be best to have some help through it. Just do it.

It’s hard to process. My first cousin who I’ve been really close to since moving to BR in 2011 commited suicide 2 weeks ago and I think about him everyday.

Like others have said, I think it would be healthy to see a therapist. There’s no shame in doing so in this situation. You need to air it out.

Happened to me with two of my good friends within a year time frame. I would agree with the others to talk to someone. I wish I had at the time because it definitely messed me up for a year or two.
