Of course there needs to be rules in place to cover the asses of the leadership that make them and for the media to display, BUT COME ON REALLY?

It’s LSU football! Do you really think these rules will be enforced? Hell no! I’m not saying we can set up like we usually do but they have to have the rules and they WILL NOT BE ENFORCED!

Do what you want but I hope we can spread this message and/or fans will already realize or take there chances and we can still have somewhat of a decent social gathering outside of Tiger Stadium!

If everybody tailgated like normal, it would be hilarious to see cops try to arrest 50-75K.

Im curious as to how much police the city is going to have around campus come the first game. Obviously no where near what a normal game brings which is a shite load, but Im sure they’ll be prepared for something.

I always thought tailgating was silly.

Nothing more depressing than to see a group of 50 year olds blare “Mr Bo Jangles” on some overpriced speakers while they try to pretend being an alcoholic is the norm.

So I'm guessing that means you will be out there tailgating? I'm expecting you to post pictures, so you can show us how much of a bad arse you are.

I'm sure they will, especially the first game to send a message

I know its mostly a meme around here.. HURR DURR we are "protesting". But you know some dipshits are gonna actually try it. Hell they will probably film themselves to try and play the victim when they get completely shut down/arrested.

Save yourself the trouble and the university the embarrassment and keep your arse at home unless you have a ticket. Just be happy we are even getting football. I'm sure tOSU fans would swap places with us in a second.

Nothing more depressing huh? I can think of about 5,734,268 things more depressing than tailgating.

What about a group of 50 year olds, hanging out with friends and family, getting ready to enjoy a football game? That's probably a more accurate picture of what 99% of tailgates are than what you tried to paint.

Well, I definitely expect the envelope to be pushed and the language to be vaguely interpreted as to see what can be done and gotten away with. It will be interesting to see what happens and what ideas are executed in response. I expect some creativity.

I see where a cooler is one of the prohibited items. C’mon! How in the hell can they enforce a cooler in the back of my truck? And what is wrong with sitting in a chair?

They are not going to let you on campus with any sort of tailgating gear. And, yes, given the routes in and out of campus, that will be easy for the cops to enforce.

I’m paraphrasing but Woodward said they don’t give a shite about a few people in a small group but if you’re having a 200 person party they’ll come shut you down

This.

Besides where would one even tailgate? Did anyone even read the guidelines? You won’t be able to park anywhere on campus without a permit.

You would actually tailgate at your car... Woodward said he doesn’t care and won’t enforce a family having a bucket of chicken and beers but there won’t be 2-300 people mosh pit parties
