Let's see if they still care if this impacts their salaries.

We already know they value their salaries over their lofty principles. This was recently demonstrated when the NBA losers, led by LeThug, threatened to refuse to play after Blake violently resisted arrest. When the owners told them they’d take a 30-35% pay cut immediately, and void their CBA resulting in further cuts, they reconsidered and decided to play.

I am not on social media enough to know- but I hope that Drew Brees has caught unmitigated hell for putting a rapist's name on his helmet.

This ^^^ is a greatcexample of why Jason Whitlock says politics and sports don’t mix too well....99% of professional athletes are politically less informed than the average contributor on this forum.

You previously said republicans show less empathy and that can bite them in the arse. So according to your own words it can be both.

Nice troll ..... well maybe not so nice troll.

No apathy in that bunch of sports scum!

They would conduct themselves differently in life if they had an ounce of apathy in their money grubbin bodies.

So go frick yourself.

Because you are either trolling or too stupid to understand the world around you.

They are trying to fit in to HELP their career. Self serving by definition. Just bc most of them don’t understand finances, as demonstrated by the high bankruptcy 5 years after retirement, doesn’t mean they are noble.

Ignorance is no excuse BUT it does explain your ignorance on this subject.

How so? Even Kapernick, who lost his NFL job, got a multi million dollar Nike endorsement and other deals out of it. No athletes are being hurt by this.

I guess it could be self serving. Maybe they're trying to curry favor with all the big bad democrats that run and control everything?

They made headlines, but the meatheads don't give a damn about them, no political hay to be made.

Look them up and educate yourself. Maybe it'll help you understand what a bunch of phonies the ball players are.

Your attempt at sarcasm fails miserably due to your proven ignorance on all of this.

Some athletes could be riding this wave and doing this for self serving reasons I admit but to say they're all like that and none of them care about other black folk is a bit of a projection I think

There are def good ones that care about others just look at the ones that buy meals, give to REAL charities, etc. But unfortunately most are just pandering to what they view as the groupthink.
