Really, why have zero,0, nada, nilch Bama players opted out and across the rest of the SEC there have been over 30 including 4 from LSU.

They don’t want to take a pay cut or miss out on the Rhodes Scholarship apps

Because they want to play football for the University of Alabama in 2020.

Do you really expect the rant to have an answer to this?
Posted on 9/3/20 at 11:21 am to Lsu101205
Because they want to keep the Dodge Charger

Good answer.
I was just reading where 66 players to date have opted out from power 5 programs.
None from AL.
I just found that interesting.

Because they haven’t won a title in a few years. They think they should win every year and it’s eating them up inside. Oh and they are scared of Saban.

That's an easy funny answer. But why really? Does their program really mean that much more to their players than to ours?

Saban don’t allow no opt out

Agents fronting money and cars is making players choose that over school not getting paid.
Bama fronts money and cars while in school so there is no need for them to opt out.

Let's put it this way. If Alabama did what LSU did last year, you'd see the same amount gone! Leatherwood, Harris and Smith and probably Waddle would probably all be gone!
Alabama has an ax to grind this year and more so with LSU. Don't think Saban didn't talk to them and wants revenge in Tiger Stadium!

Because they are committed to their team and goal of winning a title. I wish everyone on LSU's team felt that way. We can make jokes about them getting paid, but I find it admirable that they are all in. The NFL isn't going anywhere and they are safer from covid in their football bubble rather than opting out.

Saban is down for the cause.

Their families would have to give the money back.

There is a large cemetery south of BDS... maybe there is a connection.

Saban said the other day they were keeping it all in house.

It certainly doesn't hurt that there are no notable former Bama players in the spotlight who are trying to divide the team.

Those 4 year with no payment Dodge Charger loans. Interest rate balloons to 29% if not enrolled in school. Supposedly this type of loan is available to the general public as well.
