Couldn't find if this has been mentioned, but I know O has talked about adding a grad transfer DB, but with Farrell, Thomas, and now TK all heading out the door, is it too late to add grad transfers on the line?

To late, if we in fact took the DB from Nichols, that should've been last spot available

If that happens, there is something more than COVID going on here. Chase certainly played himself into a top 10 pick last year. Shelvin is not in that position at all. He could be with a big year though. Either these kids are getting some really bad advice or there’s something toxic in the program if this does pan out.

I have no problem with any player doing what he thinks is best for his career. I hate to see Chase leave, but if that's what he wants, fine.

Shelvin, however, would be making a catastrophic mistake. His value is directly related to being able to keep his weight under control, which will allow him to stay on the field and potentially injury free.

If he leaves the team, and the accountability and constant coaching that comes with that, he will balloon to 400 pounds and never be heard from again.

According to B/R Shelvin told the coaches he will opt out. The curse of Clark strikes again.

This year we may actually see some walk ons get on the field. We're at under 70 scholarship players at this point.

"rebuilding" season for LSU this year. I would not be surprised if we lost 3-5 games considering what all we have lost and the need for so many freshmen that will have to play. Hopefully the recruits see this as a chance to come and play early instead of thinking last year's championship team was a fluke.

It’s a screwed up season regardless. If we have to shite the bed, I would rather it happen now.

Our schedule sets up too well to lose 5 games. Away games in hostile stadiums wont be that tough.

Remember, academics were never his (and some others') strong suit. Just maybe they don't do so well "learning" on-line, without class-mates.

It is obvious by him opting out that he is not very clever...

I heard Stevens set to opt out later this week. I wouldn't be surprised if Deculus followed. We are closing in on 40 players gone from last years team. This is insane! And we're still gonna win it all! #GeauxTigers

Key word is projected. At this point last year Delpit was projected higher than he went, as was Fulton. Burrow was more likely to go undrafted than 1st. Kids stocks fall during the winter evals with no football being played so it makes sense it could happen if they don't play at all.
