As long as this thread is up can I get some recommendations for a decent AR? I don't own anything in that category but would like to change that. I'm not looking to destroy the bank account but I also don't want cheap junk

Not meant to be a flippant answer, but whatever you can find. Most anything will be fine for now and you can make upgrades to what you get.

My budget AR is a Sig, I paid right around 700 for it. Its been very dependable, never a jam
