Provisional deaths noted at the CDC site above suggest otherwise. I calculated the WITH COVID versus OF COVID a while back, OF COVID was 43% of total, making influenza more of a killer in 2020 than Covid

Immunology is a complex subject. To be fair, using the metric in the OP, no one has ever died of HIV infection.

folks don't die from HIV... they die from opportunistic infections that thrive in the when the CD4 counts plummet.

and those opportunistic pathogens generally were not pre-existing pre HIV

i dont want to call covid a hoax....primarily because i know of many folks that will "tree of liberty" quote literally.

The degree of corruption in reporting is significant. I can give 3 personal accounts.

A family friend belongs to a motorcycle club that had 2 vets with PTSD that committed suicide. On their cause of death it stated COVID. Apparently they either tested positive on autopsy or were just declared positive.

My brother has 2 co-workers that were in a drive through COVID test line and they gave up waiting, but had already signed in. A couple weeks later they got a letter they tested positive without being tested.

My father is currently in a rehab facility due to recent falls. He was nearing the end of his stay and we were notified he tested positive. Now he has to stay longer. He's in his mid 80's and has been asymptomatic the whole time. I found out later the facility has a very high positive rate. Fed money?

I don't understand how the provisional death data contradicts the OP. Your link doesn't contain any info about ONLY covid.

Those pathogens are there, waiting for their chance to thrive, regardless of whether you are immunosuppressed (from viral infection) or not. A healthy immune system just beats the hell out of them every day, before they can proliferate. Same with cancer.

We are, by strict cell count, more pathogen than people. For every three human cells in your body, there are four non human cells (mostly symbiotic).

maybe i could have worded it better by saying "prexisting conditions pre HIV.." in my post.


if the patient already had stage IV lung cancer and/or level D congestive heart failure...the chances for them seeing 2021 were already slim (with or without covid)


and moving infectious covid patients to nursing homes(healthwise...our most vulnerable of americans)....
imo, that is gonna be another "-gate" pretty soon.
those "cases" were someone's beloved mama or grandma.. they wont forget what happened. and they will want answers.

What this means is that on its own COVID is not that scary.

So now OP has discovered that the elderly and those weakened by comorbidities make up most Covid deaths? When did anyone not know this? This has always been the case.
