I’m not saying the numbers aren’t inflated but your title is deceiving.
It should read “people without any comorbidities are only 6% of covid deaths”
It should read “people without any comorbidities are only 6% of covid deaths”

Miraculously people stopped dying of anything but CV19.

Excess deaths is a better metric, though you still have the issue of whether covid alone was the problem or if the socioeconomic impact of lockdowns also contributed.

And 480,000 deaths are attributed to smoking per year, but no one gives a frick.

There's also the problem that the "authorities" have proven wholly unreliable, if not deceitful, so any metric they report out should be taken with a healthy dose of skepticism.

Where are you getting this from? I don't see this from your link.

We are 200,000 deaths over the average in excess deaths, if anything that shows that Covid deaths have possibly been under reported.

Covid19 is a serious virus if you’re an older person, particularly if you’re a male and if you have underlying health issues. My sister in-law works for a doctor who’s 36 years old, he contracted Covid19 the last week of July and he’s still pretty sick but back to work.....still coughing a lot but obviously not contagious.

Table 3, comorbidity data. It says on 6% of recorded deaths can be attributed to covid alone

Well if you have high blood pressure and diabetes and get Pneumonia and die two weeks later they put the cause of death as Pneumonia. Covid is the same way.

40% of deaths in Louisiana were in nursing homes
JBE hasn’t mentioned this at all

We shut the medical industry down for a few months to focus on COVID. Are you suggesting that didn't have an affect on health outcomes?
How many "lockdown deaths" have we had so far?
Moreover, before COVID became the political football it did, the CDC was jumping up and down about a horrible flu season that had started.

Not near 200,000. Some though for sure. That probably expains some of the extra 40,000 that didnt come from Covid, suicides are probably up too.

If you die for any reason at a nursing home in SC you are counted as a COVID death. Just like the motorcycle deaths being counted as COVID. What a joke.

And then weeks later, at the direction of the CDC, state health officials review the death certificate/record and re-categorize the death as a Covid death.
It's called the Death Certificate Matching program. All that needs to be present for a death to be considered a COVID death is a) the decedent tested positive for the virus within 60 days of death (even, for example, if the decedent died in a motorcycle accident), or b) two symptoms consistent with COVID are found in the record for the decedent leading up to death - like chest pain and delirium before a heart attack, which of course are also symptoms of a heart attack.

OK, so that doesn't mean only 6% died from COVID. That means only 6% had no other comorbidities listed.
Someone can die from a heart attack. Their comorbidities, such as smoking, diabetes and high cholesterol, will be listed as contributing factors. But that doesn't take away from the fact they died from a heart attack.

I blame it on the shutdown and eliminating all other health procedures

Right in line with the swine flu. No doubt that’s how we counted swine flu deaths. The only ones counted were people who actually died from it and not with it.
