Are the wind screens on the cars normal or is it something they added for the CoVid deal?

Not windscreen...it is a halo screen for safety. It was developed by F1 Red Bull Team...it will be on the F1 cars next season.

I think this year is the first year for them, but they aren’t because of COVID. They did it to reduce/eliminate the chance of a driver being hit by debris, which can be lethal when they’re at such a high speed.
