Do you think they wait until any potential spring seasons play out before they award it?

If I remember correctly, they said Burrow had such an outstanding season, it could be spread out over 2 seasons and he be declared back to back winner.

Really depends on what happens with Ohio State.
Fields is the media darling, and he's got a LOT of influence- look how he was able to leave UGA without any restriction. Look how he's now creating havoc with their schedule- he's the current face of the "return to the fall" movement. Fwiw, I hope he succeeds in this.
