I think you meant to say Richardson, Coppell, Grapevine, Flower Mound, Southlake, The Park Cities etc

Rockwall has a nice entertainment/shopping area, at least on the lake. You can buy a huge house on the cheap, raise a couple of kids through travel ball, and live an hour from anything else.
Mesquite and Hurst.
East Dallas/Lakewood, large parts of north Dallas, lake highlands... not shiteholes by any means.
