I know a few ranch hands that have used Ivermectin to self medicate a lot of shite over the years.

My sister had COVID and is at high risk. She took zinc, zpak, steroids, albuterol, and at the end off of albuterol and switched to budesonide. It improved her condition dramatically. Within a week of starting it, she was better.
We agreed that she should avoid the hospital if possible-- because we are not certain the hospital in her small city in Louisiana would provide the best care.
