Thanks buddy this will probably be my last scope as I’m getting on up in age. I shoot a .270 which is so smooth but will definitely look into the Meopta

Just got a Leopold VX-5HD with the CDS and fire dot. It’s a 3-15x44 which should be plenty for less than 250yds. Best glass I’ve ever looked through.

Spend as much as you can on glass! Swarovski, Zeiss ( German Made not Conquest) or my favorite Schmidt Bender.

That’d be a great scope.

Do you also have a quality pair of binoculars? You’ll look through the binos a lot more than the rifle scope.

The 3.5-18x44 is an amazing piece for lightweight hunting.

BT with 4w reticle would be the route I would go just to future proof your investment. The non BT with plex would you you just fine though.

Another great option.

Optkia6 3-18 Dichro 4D Reticle would be where I would start.

I have a meopta on my crossbow and it’s really nice. I had it on my 35 whelen but took it off and put a trijicon accupoint on it.
I also have a Leupold VX5-HD as mentioned above on my 28 nosler and it’s a damn good scope. Mine is 3-15x56 and also has the CDS. The cds system is awesome.

Meopta meostar r2 1.7-10x42 is incredible. It's light and has a small footprint. Meopta glass is pretty much on par with swaro but they cost less. If you held an r2 to a Z6, you could not tell a difference in most conditions. The meopta is also $1000-$1200 cheaper than the comparable swaro.
