Go to New Orleans several times a year, had an ex I dated for 2 years who grew up there and family still lived there. Yes they are liberal, yes they went out of their way to be friendly to every black person they saw, and yes, behind closed doors made comments about blacks that embarrassed me. I’m Hispanic and found out later they didn’t want her to ever marry me due to that, but to my face was a different story. That’s how pretty much every white liberal I work with, friends, etc I know is.

They don't hate them per se. They just patronize them and treat them like they can't manage for themselves. They act like they have to, for some reason, "help them". It's actually quite insulting to the black community.
It's blind racism at its finest all the while the liberals tell themselves they are virtuous while pointing the finger at others as being racist.
It's a huge blind spot for liberals and I find it ironic.
