I was an independent for 30 years until the actions of the dems the last few years pushed me firmly to the right. I just recently switched to the Republican party so I can vote in primaries.
I would switch so fast if this became a reality. Someone suggested the Patriot Party. I like it.

If Trump wins, and then starts a third party he will be the Greatest President since George Washington.
Plus the satisfaction of him telling Mitt Romney to go frick himself would almost be too much for me to bear

A Trump 3rd party wouldn't achieve a thing except to fatally split the Republican Party and guarantee Democratic dominance for a decade. It would be the greatest gift liberals could ask for.
It would be as if Bernie were to start his own Bernie party and siphon away a sizable chunk of the Democratic vote.
