After Bama, Burrow went off for about 1200 yards, 10 TDs on one pick in 4 games. He finished the season 4th all time at LSU in yards.

The UGA game that year was a turning point IMO. Had Burrow not dislocated his shoulder the week of the bama game we may have actually put some points on the board. That being said last year would've never happened without Joe Brady's influence, but yes, the magic absolutely started in 2018!

I actually thought it was your first game against Miami. It took Burrow some more time to continue growing with his WRs, your O line was still young then and had to figure it out as well for some more of the season. But when he called the audible at the LOS early in that game and changed the call to a run that went for a TD, that showed the skinny kid was studying film and understood the opposing D. That's more than half the battle. He arrived.

I was 100% happy finishing 5th and winning a NY6 Bowl. My post history will prove it. It felt a lot like the ending of 06 heading into 07, but damn 19 was soooo much better than 07.
