President Trump on Thursday announced Israel and the United Arab Emirates would move to fully normalize ties, a breakthrough in relations in the Middle East and part of the administration's efforts to shore up support against Iran.

Even if things backslide, it isn’t like they border each other like Egypt, Syria, Lebanon, or Jordan with Israel.
Any actions by the UAE would require proxies in Lebanon or Syria to pull off and both of them are a little busy at the moment with internal shite.

With full diplomatic ties this is a lot deeper than previous agreements. Not saying there isn't still a long way to go, but this is not some cease fire worthless as the piece of paper agreement.
