I'm going to skip any sport that doesn't allow fans. I don't knock anyone that will wacth any way they can.

But I feel that only when major money is lost will this Fakdemic go away.

Won’t the teams get more revenue from the regular TV money?

Ticket sales and donations still make up the largest single revenue source for the football program. Obviously, playing games and being able to get something in the form of TV revenue vs. nothing is preferable. But if you can get at least some fans 25k-40k, every bit helps. Not being able to pack Tiger Stadium this is going to create a tremendous shortfall in revenue not just for the football program, but for ALL of LSU athletics.

That's what infuriates me about the "it's just one season" excuse providers for shutting down everything. That one season of lost revenue is going to have a big cumulative effect because there are a LOT of expenses that still must be paid regardless of if the season goes forward or not.

You're going to see the purse strings tightened in athletic departments because their budgets/contracts don't factor in virtually a complete year of significantly reduced revenue

That is a very ignorant and self-righteous way to respond to those facts. 40,000 to 80,000 people die each year from the common flu. If we shut down everything and stopped gathering at football games probably that might save 10,000 lives out of that 40,000 to 80,000 lives we lose from the common flu. But did you call for the shutdown of everything to save those 10,000 lives from the common flu? Or did you remain silent and enjoyed your football on TV? Hypocrite. And an ignorant hypocrite.

Car accidents kill thousands and thousands every year. Your solution is to ban driving. And if a person wants to drive, you see them as selfish. How stupid.

Here’s a thought. If you’re worried about getting sick, don’t go to the game. If a player is worried about getting sick, he doesn’t have to play. Why don’t people just let others live their own individual lives how they see fit?

ETA: I guess your user name is self explanatory. You don’t want others to live their own lives but would rather tell them how they should be living them.

So, I understand the schools have a contract with ESPN. But, what’s it worth?

If you did PPV TV like the old Tigervision but a much better project and LSU has 200,000 fans state wide and they charge $100.00 per game that’s $20,000,000 a game!!!!! Do 4 home games and you have $80,000,000!

That’s strong. So what does each school get from the espn contract.

translation I'm a liberal f*** who only sees things one way!

I got a newsflash I work around 300 people every day we've had 18 cases of covid-19 and not one death Karen

But got to love how you try to turn LSU football into a political statement

because it doesn't fit the liberal narrative...he really needs to just not watch LSU football though if he really believed in what he's preaching and stay off these message boards...but I'm quite sure he is a liberal hypocrite like most of them
