I'd take it with a grain of salt, but just hoping there's enough rumors to indicate the organization is willing to make a change.

Gentry obviously was never the answer, but neither is Lue or Kidd.

Yeah, it looks like that article references thIS ESPN article. But the way it's worded reads as "sources say consider Griff's past connection to these guys". At least in my mind that's how I read it.

Or it just delays us from getting the coach we really need to take this team to the top.
The goal isn't just to win a couple more games than Gentry does, but make deep playoff runs. And Lue or Kidd ain't it.

This article is false.
Woj does not represent it them as candidates due to inside info.
He speculates. There are two types of Woj tweets:
1) inside info
2) throwing agents a bone and “speculating” by getting their clients name out there. This gets him future info.

Not gonna lie, Griffin’s poor track record with coaching hires is why I had some skepticism. And this rumor is basically my worst fear. Two very much overrated coaches that don’t seem to be allot we at all with what this team needs.
Given this is a Woj rumor, I give it more than a grain of salt given the two are friends. Really hope Griffin ultimately broadens his thinking between now and that moment of choosing Gentry’s replacement.
