Fellas, we have to come to these conclusions:
1.We have one of the dumbest names in the league
2. We have one on the dumbest Mantra's in the league
3.We have one of the worst coaches in the league
4.The league gave us Zion a "Hail Mary" to a failing small market franchise that traded their star player.
5.Our starting 5 are not going to play well enough to ever take us far because their personalities combined are not championship level.
Feel free to add more truths!

Seattle still owns the rights to the Sonics, so they would go back to that. They'd love to take the NOLA franchise. Part of them getting a hockey team was so they could parlay that into getting an NBA franchise.

I actually agree with the OP on the name, mantra and coach. Not sure I'd write off all of the players as incapable of winning together. Need to see what they can do under better coaching.

As a wee child, I was thrilled to be getting a professional basketball team coming to my city.

Then for the last 20 years, i watched them play. 2 playoffs series wins. I wish they never came.

Embarrassing. Good riddance. Listening to analysts, fans, commentators, etc. say “making the playoffs wasn’t the goal this year” makes me legit run to the little boy’s room and vom my guts out.

5 more years of Zion, but really 3 cause of an injury year or two....BUT HE’S GONNA STAY!!! Nope. Same people on here can’t help themselves. Paul was gonna stay, Davis was gonna stay, Zion is gonna stay! Nope, children.

Move the team.

It's just year 1 of the David Griffin rebuild. We have some nice pieces to build on and a lot of draft capital. I realize it's been tough to watch at times, but we're just getting started. No reason to blow it up now.

I despised it initially but I'll admit I don't hate it anymore. Don't love it but I'm used to it now. Didn't think I get comfortable with it.

I agree this is actually my point but how many times have we been in this situation of "we are almost there"...All I'm saying is some of the most faithful are tired of this cycle

I'm sorry to have jump to that conclusion but it's crazy to me how people think you can be a fan but can't see the things that hold us back and speak on it. This whole bubble play in situation was to showcase Zion but instead it showcased the inability of our management and staff to produce a premiere product. How many individual records have been broken on this team?

Who tf are these people? No actual Pelicans fan expected playoffs year one the rebuild. Especially one in which Zion played 20 games. Go hop on another bandwagon bro

If you can’t remember Jeremy Pargo teams with Jeff Bower as our GM then don’t speak bad of year 1 with Griff.

Yeah they may have limited Zion but we are young. If we can get rid of Gentry I would have tons of hope, if not I have expectations of the 5th or 6th seed next year

And we all discussed this a lot during the last offseason. Making it as close as we did was kind of surprising. Now that’s not to say a lot of things don’t need to change. Coaching is the biggest problem and needs to be addressed.
