3.5 hours is too damn long for a foursome much less a twosome

Am I in the minority in that I don't really care how long a round lasts (within reason).

I mean, I'm outside, having fun...so why rush that?

Do I want to be out there for 6-hours...no, but I don't get the guys that scream about a 4-hour round.

Yea as long as you are getting around in 4 hours you are fine, obviously singles will play way faster, but if you are playing with 2-4 people then 4 hrs and you are golden

Yea some guys act like they’d rather be anywhere else, like why are you in such a damn rush? As long as you are maintaining pace of play. Sometimes as a single or even twosome I’ll start to get frustrated with the group ahead then I realize we are on hole 8 and have played an hr and a half, right on pace, I need to quit my bitching

I’m with you here. I used to get upset when playing a 4.5+ hour round on the weekend but I realized I live in Houston and that’s a good pace on the weekend. I have an uncle and a cousin that I know it will probably be a 4.5+ hour round anytime they play and I don’t play with them regularly but once a month I’m fine with it.

I don’t try to rush but i do want my group to keep pace with the group ahead.

THIS. I dont care how long it takes. Sure, I get aggravated when I have to wait for someone- especially if they are lining up putts like its for the green jacket in Augusta and we're all at Beaver Creek. But why would you play golf if you wanted to rush? Seems like thats the whole point of golf-leisure. Why would I want to rush thru it?
