The "Bring back the magic" white jerseys are a PR move after 5 years of losing seasons. It was NOT Dinardo's idea...it was marketing. I asked him myself.

Prior to the NCAA forcing the home teams to wear dark jerseys it most certainly was an LSU tradition. DiNardo's reign brought back white jerseys back to Death Valley (as long as the opposing team didn't object - which Vanderbilt most certainly did at the time).
It's good to see "The Eye of the Tiger" at midfield again too. Our field looked like a bunch of sissies designed it when Hallman and DiNardo coached. The diagonal lines in the end zones truly sucked!
