Appy will lose because:

4:00 start...just enought time to get everybody drunk....

The heat and the humidity will kill Appy...their tongues will be dragging...not like Mich's weather....

Will not be a slip up loss....

others...

POWER.....LSU has the big boys on their side, sure they may be faster but a small QB,RB,WR doesnt like getting hit hard and when you play LSU you get hit hard and you slow down!

The only hope for Appy St is a 170 lb QB. He will get knocked out of the game by Chad Jones.

Haven't we beaten them on two of their other championship runs? My guess is that they come in over confident and LSU comes in prepared to play a championship team. A perfect recipe for Appy getting their asses handed to them.

BTW, defending DIV 1 National Champs> defending 1-AA (or whatever bullshite designation they give them now) National Champs.

This is the correct answer. Everytime someone from outside the deep south comes to Tiger Stadium, our fans love to say the heat & humidity will kill the opposition. It didn't effect Tennessee in '05 or Oregon State in '04.
The way LSU executes is the determining factor in all of its games. It's that simple.

they don't have dexter jackson

he was a legit deep threat who could blow by our CBs from last year, maybe the ones this year

i don't think ASU has the ability to just run option against us with their athletes

I agree with you on your point but remember in 2004 against Oregon State it was a colder rainy day and the game didn't start till 6. The Tennessee game was a night game.

4:00, if it's clear weather, could be brutal for a team like App State for a while. Really no way to prepare for it.

#14 Armanti Edwards is a 185lb QB now as he has put on 15 more pounds since last season and his speed is actually .23 seconds faster than last year as well.

But that is not what App State will hang it's hat on!

ULM (formerly Northeast) was once the toast of 1-AA football too. They also could not hang with the better 1-A teams on a consistent basis. Look what happened when they moved to 1-A football. Also, see Marshall for another example.

So what is it Scooter? That is all the media talks about. BTW, a 185 QB will still get his bell rung by players that are just as fast and way bigger. Your little team is overmatched at every position.

I don't care how much i wanna see lsu kill app state. This is damn impressive to add 15 pounds of muscle and acutally become faster in a matter of months is amazing.
