Sounds really bad on face value. The USPS story hasn’t been posted anywhere. Interesting. We knew their production wasn’t on par, but Lordstown brings that capability. Negative margins are questionable

I know! Thats why I question this attack. WKHS withstood the hindenburg twats this summer. Hoping this passes as well. My average cost basis is under $14 so I'm still gonna hold out atleast until the contract is awarded and ill go from there.

I did find an article from end of August this year that mentioned the safety issues of the prototypes, but doesn't mention which companies they were, but it was pretty much all of them.

"Part of the delays resulted from the low quality of the prototype vehicles companies submitted for testing and evaluation. The report said that vehicles delivered by four of the five suppliers “experienced critical safety failures during the prototype testing phase, including brake failures and leaking fuel tanks.”

I did read somewhere, and I can't for the life of me find it, that the USPS had 90 days from the date the proposals were due, which was July 14th....which would be oct 12th (or 14th, i havent counted ot out myself) . Now, all I can find is that with Covid its gonna be sometime by the end of the calender year....

"“The Production RFP is not a contract award,” USPS said. “The evaluation process, from RFP release to contract award for the production program, requires thorough evaluation as well as negotiations. Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic and its impact on Postal Service and supplier operations, an award(s) is currently planned for the production phase by the end of the calendar year."
