Am I the only one that noticed that the ones who are big on shutting everything down, have jobs that aren’t affected by shutting things down. They still get paid.

I have worked from a home office for a decade. It sucks. There are a lot of in person meetings not happening and causing biz deals to hang in limbo. These meetings are not being delayed due government but due parties not willing to fly to where a city is a "hotspot"

How people are affected personally definitely influences thoughts and stances on the matter in a lot of instances. One thing I think is interesting is people(especially young people) like college students going to parties are harshly criticized and deemed incredibly selfish and thoughtless, which I can understand to a point. However I think it is worth noting that it could also be seen as selfish for an elderly person who has lived their life and enjoyed their “party/fun years” and so forth, to ask these young people to not live their lives to the fullest so that they can not put them(the elderly) at potentially higher risk.
