If there’s no school in Fall teachers shouldn’t get paid

Kids need to be back in school and teachers need to quit trying to stay at home a few more months. Get off your asses you lazy fricks

You are clueless, aren't you?

Yeah since teacher make the decision. Administrators should not get paid. That’s like blaming soldiers for what generals do.

I promise you, when schools close again it won't be because of teachers

But but teachers might get the virus and spread it at home.
Not like every doctor, policeman, banker, grocery store worker, nurse, etc isn’t working right now and maybe spreading it at home.
But teachers are precious little angels.

ZOIKS! Like hey, Scoob. That’s a pretty rad opinion over there.

Do you mean if there is online class but kids aren’t physically in school or if there is no school at all?
If the former then yes they should get paid, if the latter then no they shouldn’t.

I would think they have to get paid something since they have to teach live zoom classes? Right? And prob have “office hours” for students to ask questions?
Posted on 7/19/20 at 3:23 pm to Dusted
Time for everybody working at home to head back to the office. Clearly no one working from home has been actually working. Slackers.

Teachers chose to join unions
Those unions are largely pushing back against school starting
So you reap what you sow

Teachers unions all across the country are fighting for no school in the fall. You must be stupid
Posted on 7/19/20 at 3:24 pm to Cosmo
And what if a teacher is not part of a union?
Posted on 7/19/20 at 3:24 pm to Cosmo
So if teachers aren't in a union they can continued to get paid?

I think it’s fairly obvious he means in person school

What school district has completely cancelled school all together, in-person or virtual?

If there is online learning, I don’t think I should have to pay almost $6k for a first grader to learn online. I get it once they get a little older, but how much is a teacher actually doing for online school for kids under 10?
Posted on 7/19/20 at 3:27 pm to BluegrassBelle
none. I also feel it’s fairly obvious he’s making the assumption that in person school might be forced to be 100% virtual.
