I’m sick to death of these stupid arse posts about the unnecessary hate for teachers by people who know NOTHING about what a teacher’s day, career, and classroom entail.
I had many wonderful and hard working teachers who never received the pay or respect they deserve, and it still continues today.

You probably haven’t been in a classroom in over a decade when you were a pain in the arse, rude student.

Why don’t you substitute for a day to better understand what you know nothing about? Why don’t you give up your nights and weekends to create lesson plans, grade assignments, do inservice, curriculum meetings, and continuing education classes, and dealing with unappreciative jackasses?

My wife is a teacher.
My mother is a teacher.

But I don’t think this post is going to go how you expect it.

I've heard this tired arse argument from multiple teachers. And before you say, "But you don't underatand...blah blah" let me tell you that I have friends and family up and down the hierarchy of the teaching field. From an aide to a principal, teacher, counselor, to the central office. I know. Spare me.

Teachers who say, "You should volunteer!" or, "You should try subbing!" lose the argument before it ever starts.

When picking your major, did you just close your eyes and throw a dart at a board? Did you sit in you Intro to Education class and not ask a single question? Did you do absolutely no research into the field you chose?

Bring your arse over to the plant, or out to the field, or on the side of a road, or top of a building, and start spouting your "Woe is me" bullshite.
