I do and I can’t stand it. I still use astringent stuff like Seabreeze and after a few swipes , those cotton balls look disgusting But I sure do love the benefits of delaying wrinkles and crows feet. I would say I have less wrinkles than more than 95% of people my age.

I do. I’m half Italian.

I know what you’re saying. I look 10 years younger than my age, too.

Just don’t clean your face so much. Get a few zits and let them go away. You’re cleaning it too much. Also, your diet can make a difference.

I’m 3/4 Sicilian and it’s can get bad. Dial bar soap is your friend. Has an antibiotic in it that keeps shite clean

It’s about your diet. Eat crappy foods and you’ll have oily skin. That’s how it is with me, anyway.

How does food make your skin oily exactly? My dermatologist said it doesn’t.

Eat fruits, vegetables, and meat for a week. Leave all the starch out and watch the difference.

When I eat a diet high in fruits & veggies, baked foods instead of fried, my skin is not oily at all. If I eat fried foods, chips & salsa, etc., then you could deep fry anything on my forehead.

You may want to look for another dermatologist.

my diet definitely impacts my skin. Especially dairy. I don't know what the official dermatologist position is though.

I do know that when I press on my nose and get that good white stuff out, it often smells like food I are the day before, especially if it was garlicky

Your body is just geared for a more arid climate.

I have really dry skin only on my face/head for some reason

Have to keep up on moisturizing it or it can get a little flakey

I'm the opposite. My face is too dry. Have to moisturize daily or it is noticeable. Not sure why.
