Look, I’m not a huge mask guy but I wear them now in public just to shut the idiots bitching up. I think space is more important than a mask.
Given that, if two people both have masks on it’s pretty damn common sense it’s harder for them to exchange breath particles.
People aren’t really getting this from touching something. Now if I breath on something and then you immediately touch it and wipe your mouth, sure maybe you get it. But the most important thing is to not be breathing on each other in close quarters. Common sense says masks help to some degree with this. But sure, maybe there’s some sort of science that proves common sense is not true sense here.

quote:For the last 5 months, the studies have shown this isn’t airborne. But recently some have said it COULD be airborne. What happens is people constantly breathe intro a cloth masks and it collects a ton of moisture. It’s not cleaned and touched often. People touch things in public too. Door handles, tables, etc. Someone else touched it and then their mask. There is your spread. No one is close to each other. No one breathed on someone else. But they couldn’t leave their mask alone.

I wear a mask to the store because I have to. I'm not protesting or looking for confrontation, but that doesn't mean I can't come on here and laugh at the dummies that preach to me about science while wearing their cotton cover over their mouth for the 50th straight day without any sort of attempt to disinfect it.
