Is anyone else concerned about the lack of 5*?

I mean the talent is good but where’s the elite guys?
Just kidding. This is the deepest class I think I’ve ever seen at LSU from a quality standpoint.

But the crazy thing is that 13 of the 16 commits are top 245 ranked guys, that’s fricking insane.

Isnt this what we do every year? Considering the season we just had I was hoping for a class like Ohio St is currently pulling in.

Don't care about stars. That is an entity that gets paid to evaluate talent potential, NOT COACH IT, NOT LOOK AT CHARACTER, ETC.
I'm going to go with COACH who gets paid MILLIONS over a anyone else. Especially when that coach has taken lesser star talent and beaten 5 star talent loaded teams (UGA, Clemson, OU) and now hopefully we can throw Bama in that mix.
If CEO offers, I'd take him.

All four stars are not created equal. Look at the average rating for this year versus years past. We have higher percentage of top 150 players/.95 composite rating and above.
Also, the distinction between the thirty second and thirty eight player is pretty arbitrary. Just a cut off imposed by 247. So there’s not a meaningful difference between the thirty second ranked player (a five star) and Raesjon or Sage Ryan (both four stars).

They will all be 5 stara after O and staff are done Remember we just took down a roster of 5 stars for the natty with 2's, 3's and 0 star starters.

Uh you know Clemson had less talent right?
Clemson had 7 5-stars, 33 4-stars, 33 3-stars. LSU had 7 5-stars, 44 4-stars, 32 3-stars.
