I feel ya, I was supposed to go to Hawaii for the first time over 4th of July. Was going to play Kapalua and the Emerald course and on the trip back stop in San Diego and play Torrey Pines North and South. We changed the trip to next Mardi Gras. Hopefully everything is back on track then.
The Kapalua Plantation course is one of the coolest courses that I have played because it is such a massive course.
The par 3's number 8 and numbers 11 are wonderful holes along with par 4 # 17.
And Number 18 is just plain huge. Depending on the trade winds it can play easy or very hard.
If you get the chance the Makena Course is pretty damn awesome as well.
