I know it’s trashy but where can I find an above ground pool in Baton Rouge? It’s hot as shite and I am quarantined at home due to testing positive for COVID which means I can’t go to our neighborhood pool for some time. Looking for one of those Intex blow up pools that are about 4 feet deep and will probably just throw it away after this summer. I’ve looked everywhere online and no one has them in stock locally.

A blow-up pool that gets thrown away in a few weeks is no where near as trashy as a true above-ground pool

You don’t have an infinity pool?

You can only have one of those if you put it in your front yard (or maybe side yard) and get one of those giant inflatable unicorn floats for it.

Check The Academy online.

They’ve had some nice ones for that type of use.

I checked Walmart, Academy, Dicks, Target. No one has them in stock locally. I would have to order. That does me no good today. I’m tired of being cooped up inside. Want to at least float in a trashy above ground pool outside. Plus I want to see if my dog can swim.

Walmart

In store may be iffy, da stimulus checks went crazy on items like that. Coupled with delays in shipments due to trade disputes means there is a shortage on pools. I even had a hard time trying to find some extra hoses for my pool. I sort of hit the jackpot this year, my neighbor was getting rid of his 22’x52” pool so he gave it to me.

I checked in the Bayou area and they were showing limited stock on 14’x30” and 16’x30” at Walmart. Word of caution, limited stock could mean that have any where from 0 to 2 items left. So they could be out of stock.

Heck I even looked at academy for you and they didn’t have any either.

Try Splash Pools off of Siegen.
At one time they had a model with a lifetime warranty, which you could have sunk into the ground with only a foot sticking out that you could have a deck built around it. There was also a drain pipe installed to help facilitate cleaning/repairs.

I have the COVID. Plus we have a community pool in my neighborhood. Plenty of MILF’s. I would be out there with a ice chest full of beer right now if I could.

Rona has the supply chain jacked up, they are not in stock anywhere. Places online are showing them available and canceling the orders after they are paid for. On Facebook Marker Place people are tripling the price or more and listing them up. Its like netindos at Christmas time

Just go and stay 6 ft away from everyone. As long as you aren’t sneezing on people no one will care.

3.50 at Dollar General. Can even get it in pink.

So cheap you just throw it away/burn it at the end of summer.
