COVID Test - Baton Rouge

I have not been feeling well and took a COVID test on Tuesday at the Baton Rouge Clinic. This was not the rapid test so the said it would take 24-72 hours for results. I keep hearing of much longer wait times for test results. Has anyone taken at COVID test at the Baton Rouge Clinic? if so, how long did it take to get results? If not taken at the BR Clinic but took a COVID test in BR what was your wait time for test results.

You gonna be recovered by the time you get that test back. Good Luck.

I was told 24-48 hours, then they(BR Clinic) + Lake After Hours had an outage, causing delays... I was told expect more like 72 hours now.

I did the drive through in the parking lot down the street from OLOL. I got an appointment after a virtual Dr's visit. No waiting and it took 15 minutes to get the result. Luckily it was negative. This was in early May.

You're likely not to even get your test result back anyway.
I've lost all faith in anything involving Covid. You will probably get test results from a swab of some nurse's dog.

We had rapid tests back in April. Tests that take several days are pretty useless in my opinion. Why isn't everyone using rapid tests: cost or accuracy or availability?

Why did you take the test you idiot
Now I probably won’t be able to go to the bar this weekend

Seriously what is the obsession with getting the test results? If you’re sick your sick it doesn’t change shite

I had a test done at BR Clinic prior to an Endoscopy back in May, results came back in roughly 48 hours

The rapid test cost around 270$ A piece to buy, hard to get and not as accurate as PCR (send out).... but everybody wants instant results when it doesn’t always matter. If you have no symptoms but we’re exposed it’s most always going to be negative but you could be + the next day

I got mine within 48 hours from BRC

I got tested for Covid at an urgent care in BR this past Sunday and I haven't gotten the results yet. I was told by the nurse that it's currently taking a minimum of four days before getting results in and that it has taken over ten days at times. I was feeling crappy this weekend but I'm feeling fine now so what evs.
