I could bump 100 threads where a patriot warns that the Radical Professional Left wants to destroy 100 different American traditions, principle, ideals and Institutions. All met with derisive and ridiculing Leftist straw men and Leftist gaslighting. And lo and behold, 5 years later, it has been destroyed and said Leftist is on to the next thing in the crosshairs. So OF COURSE, the radical Left would love to enjoy anything of value to Americans, most of all our most cherished Institutions. The end game is the destruction of America and Western Civilization itself.

The university administrators want to kill sports too, I think. Only a few schools, the sec, clemson, texas, etc., won't be doing their level best to knock down the athletic departments.

But it is everywhere now.
Interestingly, she was also behind the revival of UW football as well.
The AD was losing money hand over fist for years as the leadership felt it brought nothing to the school. Shalala at least saw the error of those ways and replaced the AD who hired Alvarez.
The Camp was damn near empty before he showed up.

"burn them all down" and start over. Inflated salaries and pussies have ruined the sports. We as Americans need to revisit "what's good in life" and reconnect with basics like family, the outdoors. The left can go have sex with trees and cry over third world countries in the meantime.
