I took the ACT once and bascially just guessed on everything to see what i could get and got a 19.
i don't see how people can get 15s and 16s.

FYI: i did end up getting higher than a 19. ha

it is def back down to 22 or 23 depending on your gpa, they only raised standards for 2 yrs i think but lowered now that okeefe is gone, and some of these kids really have a hard time getting a 16 on the act, i just dont understand that, it is like they never went to school

Interesting that you would "basically" guess just to "see" what you would get....I'm curious as to what you ended up with, considering a rise of more than 4 points, or so, in one shot would be cause for concern with the people who monitor that sort of thing for ACT.

25 was my highest.

yeah...i have the extend time benefit for the ACT and i was able to work at my own pace as long as i finished within 5 hours. The day that I got a 19 was the day of the Auburn game a couple of years ago and i just didn't feel like taking it so i hurried up and finished in less than 5 hours.

I went from a 21 to a 26 without hearing anything from anyone. I think the concern is when someone jumps from a 16 to a 21 or so.

Actually, according to this:

the undergraduate admissions standards for incoming freshmen are 18 English and 19 Math, but at least 22 composite.

I don't understand how they can score so low. I made a 21 in 7th grade. How is it possible for guys that are juniors and seniors to make a 15?
