I think about the Civil when I think back 150 years or so. America had not been a country for even 100 years and already attacking each other.
Growing pains for a fledgling country. Some of which we are still arguing over today (States rights vs Federal Control).

I have no clue, but I pray in 150 years (or as soon as possible) Americans view abortion with the same disgust and disdain as they view slavery today.
I feel like those of us who recognize it as the abomination it is are like the abolitionist of our day. Fighting against a moral injustice.
And like the plantation owners of 150 years ago the "my body, my choice" crowd will roll their eyes and claim "we" don't know what we're talking about.

Not taking a position on either side of the argument (it gets too emotional for most), but I will say this. I find it widely ironic and hypocritical (for both sides) that the same crowd that is pro-abortion is the same side that is pro-mask (and vice versa) with the same arguments for and against it. My body, my choice.

I judge the frick out of racists and tyrants from years past.
The KKK, Nazis, etc... are shitty people.
Ain't that hard to treat everyone with respect, earn your keep, and be a good person.

Abortion will be viewed as barbaric and much worse than slavery.

How many middle aged people do you see out taking part in all this shite? It’s young people who don’t have a fricking clue about history, much less how to learn from it.
How are the actions of hippies who spit on Vietnam vets judged?
How is McCarthyism judged?

If I'm still pissing people off in 150 years, i did something right.

Yeah, but the thread topic is broader than this. I'm speaking of everyday actions that might be judged harshly in the future. Like having more than 1 kid or driving a car (polluting the planet), or, as other have said owning a pet, or eating meat or any of about 1,000 things that we do every day that we think of as normal. Would you want to be judged on those things 150 years from now?

If Chicken gives away our true identity, we are all going to be viewed as complete hicks in 150.
Or incredibly wise.
It could go either way.
