Looks and functions just like a power pole. Pretty bold.

I guess they were tired of Power Pole controlling the market. I assume Talon will be discontinued

So if MK discontinues Talon, is this finally admitting that PP's revolutionary design was superior all along?

I know PP has certain parts patented, but maybe not that overall design for deployment and retraction.

The only thing wrong with a PP is when it doesn't have a twin on the other side of the motor.

I love my talons bc I have the bracket that allows them to fold down to keep in my boat garage and get them out of the way fishing current rivers for over hanging trees.

I like my dads power pole but the fact it isn’t foldable made it a no go for me

Might have to hold off on purchasing a power pole to see has this thing pans out.

The only advantage I can see that thing having over Power Pole is if you can run the trolling motor and deploy anchor stick off the same remote.

They won't be able to beat power pole on customer service. Also power pole has a longer track record with this type of system and has worked out the kinks.

The trolling motor remote deploy definitely caught my eye.

Powerpole is behind on manufacturing right now. Maybe like 1 month from when I was buying one a few weeks ago. If MK can get these to market right away then they might do pretty well.

I talked to power pole last week about an 8’ model and they have a 3 week wait time on the sportsman series and 6 week wait on the pro series.

I have an ulterra with spotlock and I have never used it. I mainly fish in shallow water ponds in the marsh sight fishing for reds. Honestly I try to use my trolling motor as little as possible so that I don't spook the fish. Powerpoles work much better for my style of fishing.
