Is there any doubt that mainstream media pushes propaganda?

Here’s the definition of propaganda:

Propaganda is communication that is used primarily to influence an audience and further an agenda, which may not be objective and may be presenting facts selectively to encourage a particular synthesis or perception, or using loaded language to produce an emotional rather than a rational response to the information that is presented.

Does this not describe the news media in this country to a T? Every single one of them. I can’t think of a single one where that definition does not apply.

What is the least biased news organization in your opinion?

It’s been that way for a long time, they just don’t try to hide it anymore.

Most telling is when CNN, MSNBC, ABC, etc etc all start using the same buzz words at the same time. Obviously all under direction of deep state democrats.

As far as cable news? It doesn't exist. I find Reuters to be pretty solid for the most part.

Is it really propaganda if it’s from a media outlet and not the state?

It fits the definition completely, but I always thought of propaganda being from the government, especially in wartime.

News with no agenda has been dead a long time.

News doesn’t sell in the post 9/11, 24/7 breaking news world. We have to fill the airwaves with doom and gloom, shootings, death, etc so you’ll tune back in hoping to feel safer. When that’s not happening, the news has to “create” news, share their slant on it, and tell you how to think.

We’ve seen the latter creeping into ESPN and other sports sources for a couple years now, reaching critical mass during covid where there are no actual sports to report on.

Selling opinion is goal number one now for the most part. It’s sad.

You know, when I was a kid, I was acutely aware of the subversion of Americans through television especially from the news to programming and their little subversive messages they would put in here and there to convey a message they were trying to get across. The older I got the more obvious it was to me, and now they don’t even try to hide it. It is so blatantly obvious that you’d have to be the chief village idiot not to recognize the brainwashing.

This has been going on for some time now. We’re just at the end game now and it’s full speed ahead.

Always been that way but is now more brazen and flagrant than ever.

Truth no longer matters. Be the first to get it out there is priority. Doesn’t matter if it’s correct, spin it later if needed. “If it bleeds it leads.”

Schools and universities are doing it as well. Controlling the narrative.

Seems like quite the gamble for a temporary boost in ratings or viewership. In the long term I would assume they are driving away their base audience slowly but surely.
