I know that he is originally from Baton Rouge, but I just realized that his mother played softball at LSU. With the LSU connection it surprises me that he didn't end up at LSU. I know he played high school baseball in Jacksonville, FL and to my knowledge wasn't a huge recruit, but does anybody know why he didn't come here??

He has a house about 4 miles from me. I work with a guy who dated his wife in high school. Very high maintenance chick.

I don't know why he didn't play at LSU, he ended up at Mississippi St so he was on the radar of SEC schools. Maybe LSU didn't think much of him, or he didn't think much of LSU.
