Well baws my company just went big dumb on us

I work at a plant, we employ a lot of people. Yada yada.
It is now mandatory to wear a faceshield on your hard hat at all times inside the plant.
Yes, a face shield, not a face mask. My breath will now just exit from under my chin. The good news is, we live in Louisiana, so it will be really enjoyable to wear a faceshield in the middle of the summer.
This will keep us safe

Don't worry, a fogged up face shield won't affect your vision when your fiddling around inside a multi-million dollar machine.

About as useless as the spoggles they make us wear.. The safety glasses with a gasket. I stood up into a valve stem a few weeks ago when mine where fogged up..

My favorite was working @ ConocoPhillips in south La in July in the alky unit. Demoing old pipe that still had sulfuric acid. We had to wear acid suit boots, hood, all of it. And working about 8 foot up. We still had to wear a harnesses. Well for those of you that has done this before, know there is always acid left behind. And after we broke a few lines and a little acid hear and there, our harnesses were pointless full of holes an crap. BUT WE STILL HAD TO WEAR THEM.

well to be fair, i find lots of people cant seem to talk without spitting tiny drops everywhere as they try to pronounce certain letters
in plants where you must talk loud it happens more often and there were certain people i refused to get too close to because it rained when they talked
