Any ideas on a historical fiction novel set during the French Revolution?
The Shadow Campaigns is a five book fantasy series set in that era in which the author, Django Wexler, heavily drew on Napoleon / the French Revolution. I'd check it out if you don't mind the fantasy elements. Book 1 is set in a desert and the FR part doesn't come into obvious focus until Book 2, but they are very good books.
If you are looking for more action, the Campaigns of Napoleon reads almost as military fiction but is non-fiction. Its not a very light read though

It's not set solely during the revolution, but Paris by Edward Rutherford (sweeping historical fiction covering hundreds of years) is great and covers life in the Paris Commune, the Reign of Terror, etc.
