This is actually poignant. I see posts from Conservatives saying to give up on the internet, give up on Trump, give up America...

How bout we simply stand our ground?! We don't need to rally, storm "CHOP" zones, whatever... we just need to not change our core beliefs. To RAISE our children instead of letting society raise them for us. To RAISE them to believe right from wrong. RAISE them to believe in the America our Founding Fathers created.

And most of all, to let them know that standing for your beliefs is much more courageous than giving in to the mob.

The OP is right. Washington did not give up. He BELIEVED in his cause. And so should we.

Very reasonably satire shining light on the current insanity -

Many of the inmates have enough later intelligence left to know when they are being made fun of.

Keep up the effort - you have legions of like-minded patriots with similar thoughts.

Stop wishing for bad luck and knocking on wood.

Imagine if he had been a quitter like half the doom-and-gloomers all up in here posting lately.
