I'm pretty depressed tonight

I thought Trump was going to help keep America from being flushed down the toilet but I was wrong.
I feel numb with the lies being told about the Police and now every business and court seems to be siding with lawlessness and falsehoods.
People defending themselves and their business from the a-hole protestors find themselves being arrested.
People have lost their fricking minds and going crazy scouring everything ever posted on the internet to destroy people and their livelihood.
Police are standing down and letting buildings burn to the ground and every statue in the country will be gone by the end of the year at the hands of petulent green haired teenagers.
What the hell is going on? Law and order is gone in this country. For the first time I'm really concerned raising good and moral children won't matter. The mob has won.
I will give our country 4 more years of trump is re-elected but I think the United States I grew up in is gone.

I’ve been doing a lot of meditations and exploring my Christian faith more. Try to find meaning in old fashioned, wholesome things like talking with your family, significant other, playing sports with friends, gardening, home improvement projects, etc.
Been listening to a lot of historical fiction audiobooks on the free library app (my library uses Libby and most every book you want is on there). Tired of supporting liberals financially and the library is a great way to avoid that.

Trump has demoralized his base by pandering to democrat constituencies that hate him and will never vote for him.
He can tweet law and order all he wants but his actual campaign and the GOP are saying the complete opposite pandering to the people that are enabling BLM and ANTIFA. And he's not stopping them.
We need the 2016 Donald Trump that ran on pure law and order, did not apologize to the mob and gave zero shits about pandering to them.

My FiL wrote a book about the Confederacy years ago and just deleted his entire online presence because someone threatened to come after his job and my wife just deleted her Facebook which she only kept around for buy/sell/trade.
I am seriously considering deleting my TD account. 60,000 posts so I'm sure I'm an easy target for cancel culture myself.

As much as I can’t stand those clowns this is so true. It really is his only hope but I’m not sure that would even matter. There’s no chance in hell any jury will convict any of them no matter what the facts are
