Ftr. I agree with this. My dad taught me these lessons as a preteen when he first taught me how to drive.

His logic. We are black men, we can't help that. Unfortunately, many cops will automatically assume we are a thug. We can't help that either. But at the same time, we can help how we respond. We do our part to be friendly and try to show the cops we are not a threat not mean any harm, then 9 times out of 10 we get to go home.
