Not taking one stance or the other, can Drew still command the locker room.

Whether you agree or not is for a different thread. The reality is he caved to the mob both internally and externally. I admit he could have lost the team if he would have stood his ground. Now let’s put that aside.

The way players on the team eviscerated his character and even his aptitude, and his response was, apparently, to cry and apologize, and we haven’t heard that any of the players that insulted him did the same, is there any chance these players respect him any longer? Any chance he can still drive the culture of the team and demand responsibility?

Maybe the team collectively rallies around their wokeness, or maybe the team devolves into rudderless mediocrity. Not sure. I do know anyone on the team who isn’t woke, isn’t going to give a shite what he says about anything.

Man, frick that locker room. The days of me giving 2 shits about that fricking locker died when Jenkins, Thomas and Cam, among others, publicly scorned Brees for his beliefs. The same beliefs as 80% of Americans

Its such a duststorm now I don't think much is very clear.

Hell just a few weeks ago it was "can we even play games" and now a racist sh!tstorm engulfs the sports world?

I hope reason and logic regains its foothold.

We will see.

Revolution, you are missing the point. I no longer care. Besides, that locker room doesn't need or not need my support. I don't matter to that locker room, and that's ok. I can live with that. As long as I can live my life in peace.

If you believe this BS won’t have a negative impact on the Saints you’re wrong

So you're saying Brees is a recruiter for the US Army?

This isn’t about the placated mob being temporarily elated that they were placated, when adversity hits and leadership and accountability is required , is drew going to be able to move the team?

Personally I think not, but who knows.
