Houseflies outside - how to get rid of them?

I’ve been under constant attack these past 2 weeks in my backyard and patio with damn house flies. I’ve been pretty successful at spraying to keep mosquitos and other bugs away, but these houseflies are relentless.
My yard is clean, fenced in, no garbage or compost or dog poo... I can’t figure out what they’re even interested in other than personally pissing me the frick off
HELP

I sprayed insect killer from the water hose on the lawn and they vanished

Does this really work? Give some details. I have a similar issue. But I know where the flies are coming from. My neighbor will boil crawfish or crabs on a Thursday or Friday and leave them in his garbage can until Tuesday when the garbage man comes.

Get some golden malrin from tractor supply or feed store.. you can either set up bait stations or sprinkle it on the ground.. just make sure your pets can't get to it.. it will kill a animal quick..

Tractor Supply sells a fly trap with bait. It does work although you must change the bait after a while because it will start. But it des work!

Total bullshite. I was up in Eureka Springs several times in the early fall for several motorcycle rallies over the years and each year the flies up there were out of control that time of year.
The motel/restaurant/campsite I stayed at had these bags with pennies all over the place and the only thing they did was keep the pennies wet as the flies swarmed drinks and food belonging to anyone sitting outside.

There's not really many critters in this world that I've been associated with in my environment that disgust me more than the common fly.
Try to have a picnic, BBQ, seafood boil, etc. outside this time of year and they are going to be the party crashers that nobody really wants.
Nothing worse in my mind to be eating a plate of food and looking down seeing flies walking around in the potato salad and knowing full well they have likely been crawling over a dead carcass or pile of shite just moments before.
Absolutely disgusting creatures.

This fly bags mentioned really do work. They stink so careful where you place it we have one out now with 100’s flys in it. Just bought a replacement at Lowe’s for under $5. Will swap out in trash day. Best bang

In the heat of the day the flies swarm to my porch for shade. I use this stuff and watch the little bastards die within seconds of landing. It contains the same chemical that is in topical flea treatments for dogs/cats so its safe. Lizards and toads clean up the dead flies and I've noticed no ill effects to them. Always get the spot spray... the pellets stain things red when rained on.

I used these when I had dogs in the kennel and they work great. You can also put them out of site and they still attract flies.
