The she shows me last night a manila folder and asks in her uniquely country voice, "Is this anything?"....Ummm, yes mom, this is another substantial whole life insurance policy dad maxed out in 1999 and is funding it's self plus some cash value. "Is that these dividend checks I've been getting?". Yes it is. "What's that mean?". She almost shite and passed out. And we still haven't been to safe deposit box at bank. Damn dad been sandbagging me!!!! I was worried about his retirement so me and mom had been investing behind his back and I had bought and given him more shares of STLHF and others.
