Just curious, anyway they could just lock the union out and play an 80+ game schedule with replacement players? Obviously it would be a huge mess but just getting baseball on tv with people who actually WANT to play...i know I’d watch it.

They don’t need to lock them out. MLB can set a date and go. It’s then up to the players association if they want to play. If they refuse it’s a strike and you bring in scabs. Clark will be in serious trouble then because his union will be split.

The union is going to get smoked as they don’t have Fehr or Glavine this time.

It’s your precious owners who don’t want an 80 game season.


Well let me rephrase that. They want 80 games they just only want to pay for 50 of them.
