What the frick does walking on the interstate have to do with police brutality? Cops should have never stopped traffic and just let natural selection run its course

NOLA will continue to spiral downward. Why would anyone want to raise a family there?

It's like this everywhere.
Media and political structures in this country have repeatedly told us that we need to completely shut down to control the spread of the virus. That we need to shelter in place, put restrictions on businesses and schools, and that they won't put the economy over saving lives.
All of them are now silent on COVID-19 as they allow thousands of people to stand shoulder to shoulder with one another protesting every night.
Turn on any mainstream corporate news network. The same individuals that were sanctimoniously telling you that people wouldn't be able to return to sports stadiums for years, that conventions needed to be cancelled, that universities and schools would need to remain remote for another year, that businesses had to reopen with extreme capacity limitations...those same people haven't mentioned the pandemic for days, and have gleefully covered the mass protests with delight and unwavering support.

& every one of these idiots will continue to vote for the same council members & mayor, the very people who can set policy & procedures in their local PD
How about going to a council meeting?
How about meeting with the mayor?
How about doing something that is actually productive?

When Latoya tries to shut down Mardi Gras, I say come and try to stop it.

The mask wearing in that picture is still the most illogical part of it.
