Do you like oppressive govt, endless laws against everything, police/govt officials who have the power to ruin or even kill you whenever they choose and for whatever reason they see fit? If you don’t, you’ve just discovered common ground with the legit protestors. Y’all disagree on the solution and the cause, but both see the same problem.
There are differences between the races. The issue will NEVER be solved until this is recognized and addressed.
It NEVER will be.

Yes. Specifically the Great Society of Lyndon Johnson. You denying the decline/slide in our cities since the late 60s?

I think you can work on some of the underlying issues of racial bias and prejudice against people of color which have been problems here since before we were even a country. These issues aren’t new and they haven’t gone away.
I think we are seeing anger, frustration, despair, and disillusionment that has built over a long time.

Most police taking a chill pill would be a massive step in the right direction
As for the social and systemic issues, yea it’s tough to see a resolution other than just humans being better to one another

This guy right here gets it.
The differences in the statistics are not explained away by different policing because we're not talkin about subjective crimes.
The only way to ever get past it is to start reporting on crime truthfully and holding certain groups that disproportionately commit every type of crime most specifically violent crime accountable.
Most white people are too big of pussies to have that conversation and most black people don't want to hear the truth because the truth hurts.

If they truly believe that white on black racism is a problem in America given the actual reality in this country white people should be the ones rioting.
Why would white people riot about white people being racist against black people.
I need some of what you're smoking.

Blacks don't want reconciliation or an honest conversation.
They want vengeance and retribution for all the wrongs they perceive, some real and most imagined.
Pure fantasy.
If that were they case, the country would have burned by now.

Well, let's look at it from this angle: if that bastard wouldn't have shite the bed with his knee none of this would be happening.
Nah. Protests in LA and in front of the White House have jack shite to do with a black man dying at the hands of the police in Minnesota. They do the same thing when the police act properly but the outcome is bad.

Asians and Hispanics are fricking lapping blacks in improving their lives and they didn't have an Act to help them.
In 50 years when our country is mostly Hispanic than white blacks will still be at the bottom economically speaking.
I mean it's a cultural problem that needs SERIOUS reflection and change.

Hey you know how a lot of conservatives talk about fighting back, grabbing their guns, defending their rights, violently if necessary? This is that. Everyone has breaking points. When people are ignored and abused by their country and community, this is what happens.

Regarding police, nobody should be out in a badge on patrol if the person has a trace of bigotry. Vet these folks out with polygraphs, references and social media. If a candidate is found to show light insensitivity, hire them and train them via a probationary period. More severe instances are grounds for not being hired and termination of current officers.
That all sounds good but people aren’t beating the doors down to pull in a cops salary.

Not necessarily because you have to think about the consequences of your actions. 40 million vs 200 million and the 200 million has the majority of the guns. Especially the ammo.
One group unloads an entire clip from a Glock from 20 feet away and doesn't have one lethal shot. For evidence look how many shootings in Chicago compared to the deaths.
The other side has 10 year olds capable of busting your melon from 150 yards using iron sights.

IMO, police violence against anyone is a HUGE civil liberties issue for any race. Whites get killed by cops just like blacks do but that doesn't get nearly as much attention as it should because most people respect the police for putting their lives on the line every day.
The simple idea of "law enforcement" is ripe with risks of governmental overreach.

You've hinted at this a few times, but are you saying that racism(speaking traditionally here, where the race in power is the one doing the discriminating) in the United States does not exist? Or exists to such an extent that it is virtually invisible?
Posted on 5/31/20 at 2:27 pm to Blizzard of Chizz
As long as we have a Democrat party, we will have race baiting and the deliberate creation of civil unrest. They were the same during Lincoln's election, they are the same now. The only way for them to win elections is to create chaos and hatred.

The majority of black people do NOT want retribution. The folks who do are a minority and aren't equipped to even carry it out.
Did you hear Keisha Lance Bottoms yesterday?

Virtually invisible and if you allow the miniscule amount that exist today to prevent you from succeeding then you are weak minded and you never would of succeeded regardless.
The tiny amount of racism that may exist today is completely overshadowed by affirmative action, racial hiring quotas racial quotas in higher education, the media pandering to you.
Like Donald Trump said and it is a 100% true. A well-educated black man or woman in this country today and even 30 40 years ago is in a far better place then a well-educated white person. They have a much better chance at being successful.
Anyone bitching about systemic racism today is not seeking equality of opportunity they are seeking equality of outcome and they need to be fricking upfront about it and just say it.

Let’s just be honest almost all Democrats are unreasonable people.
I mean Susan Rice is on CNN completely obscuring the entire situation. Everything is race, race, race. The Obama Administration’s playbook was to divide the nation and they are continuing it. Did she give a flying frick about having a VP standing up and telling everyone in the room that within 2 years over 50% of all promotions would be diverse? I mean how can you say “he we are going to fix the issue by being racist against you”. All because I was born a male white heterosexual. Guess what....I DON’T GIVE A frick ABOUT YOUR FEELINGS IF YOU WANT TO frick ME OVER FOR NOT A DAMN THING I DID!

You think in 1980 it was better to be a well educated black man than a well educated white man?
Were you alive in the 80s?
